CLEANING PROCEDURES FOR MOVABLE FABRIC POTS & FABRIC GROWING CONTAINERS

CLEANING POTS WITH MEDIUM:

Water the pots with the a solution of Enzymes Komplete™, Hydrogen Peroxide and water and until the soil and fabric is very wet. Spray the outside of the pots with the same solution.  For outside of pot use a soft-bristled scrub brush to lightly scrub the pot, removing build up or stains. Leave for a few hours, repeat the procedure again, wait for another few hours and then rinse with clean water and let the container air dry.

The Cleaning Solution: 4ml of Enzymes Komplete™ per litre of water or 15ml -16ml of Enzymes Komplete™ per 1 gallon of water, 1.5ml Hydrogen Peroxide 33% of 1 gallon of water

CLEANING POTS WITHOUT MEDIUM:

Soak the pots in a solution at 4ml of Enzymes Komplete™ per litre of water or 15ml -16ml of Enzymes Komplete™ per 1 gallon of water, 1.5ml Hydrogen Peroxide per 1 gallon of water  for a period of 1 hour or more.  After soaking the fabric should be rinsed to remove all the residue that has been unleashed from the fabric.

After the pot is dry, gently brush off any dust and small roots or rub the sides of the container together to clean the interior.
When the pots are dry and clean, simply fold and store them in a protected space like the potting shed, garage or basement.

“I grew my plants in these 1gal transplanters for 6 weeks on a flood tray in a grow tent before removing the plants/soil. When I removed the soil, I let them dry for 24 hours and shook out the remaining soil. I did not brush or use any cleaners before I took this photo.  I soaked the 6 pots in a 5gal bucket for 24 hours with 15ml per gallon of water. There was approximately 5gal of cold tap water in the bucket. After I removed the pots, I rinsed them with a garden hose at 40lbs of pressure and let dry. You can see how well the Enzymes Komplete cleaned the soil/fertilizer residue with very little effort.”

“I turned the pots inside out to look at the remaining soil and root mass. Enzymes Komplete removed all the soil and the majority of the root mass. Please note while the pot were soaking, I did not turn the pots inside out nor did I scrub them together during this process.  I re-soaked the 6 Transplanters inside out in the same 5gal bucket but with a fresh batch of Enzymes Komplete at 20ml per one gallon of water for 24 hours. While they were soaking, I scrubbed the pots together after 4 hours for 2 minutes. Once I removed the pots from the bucket, I gently rinsed with a garden hose. I was amazed to see how there was only a few roots left that were entwined in the fabric. The enzymes did all the work to break down the root mass without harming the fabric.”
